I had the pleasure of meeting Cindy, shortly after I moved to Bermuda and got pulled into the Bermuda Volleyball Family. Moving to a new country and trying to establish a new network was daunting, but was made easier by people like Cindy. She was always open, laughing and up for a good time. If we took ourselves too seriously on the court…she could lighten the mood and remind us what really matters. My favourite memory of her is of us doing fitness circuits in the Saltus gym and Cindy singing at the top of her lungs “I Kissed a Girl and I Liked it”. She had a way of making everything fun…even fitness!
Cindy’s spirit will forge on, in our memories, in our hearts and in her amazing kids!
